¡Hola por aquí! hace unas semanas atrás tuve la dicha de conocer uno de los países mas bellos que he visitado a lo largo de mi vida. Se trata de Grecia y algunos se preguntarán, ¿Pero Grecia no es solo islas y playas? para nada, este hermoso país también cuenta con hermosas montañas, como las que pueden ver en las fotos. ¡Se trata de Meteora! Meteora significa “rocas en el aire” una frase que define exactamente lo que encontramos en ese lugar. Meteora es una acumulación de peñascos formados bajo el mar hace 30 millones de años, los cuales quedaron al descubierto al bajar el nivel del mar.
Una de las principales atracciones son los monasterios, es impresionante ver estos monasterios en las cimas de las montañas. Son lugares ideales para aquellos que desean encontrarse a si mismos o meditar. Actualmente quedan 13 monasterios de los 24 originales y se pueden visitar 6. Otra de las cosas que no pueden dejar de hacer es tomar los tours para los atardeceres, sin duda alguna uno de los paisajes mas bellos que mis ojos han visto.
Si están planeando ir a Grecia, les recomiendo visitar este mágico lugar que parece sacado de Games of Thrones. ¿Como llegar? El tren desde Atenas a Meteora toma aproximadamente 5 horas. Pero, si desean alquilar un automóvil, deben hacerlo desde Atenas, ya que en Meteora no hay agencias de alquiler. Los pueblos mas cercanos para alojarse son Kalambaka y Kastraki. Yo les recomiendo quedarse 2 días al menos, para que puedan disfrutar al máximo este lugar. Hello there! A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting one of the most beautiful countries I have visited throughout my life. If you plan to go to Greece, I recommend you visit this magical place that looks like something out of Games of Thrones. How to get Meteora? The train from Athens to Meteora takes approximately 5 hours. But, if you want to rent a car, you must do it from Athens, since in Meteora there are no car rental agencies. The nearest towns to stay are Kalambaka and Kastraki. I recommend you to stay at least 2 days, so you can fully enjoy this place.
